Meet Dilly Carter

Hi, thank you for finding me.

 

I can’t wait to help you get organised and hope this is the beginning of a long lasting relationship which sees us help you with your home and family as it evolves over the years.

 

I started my business after growing up in a chaotic home from the age of 11 with a mother with Bi Polar Disorder. My understanding of the illness and how that affected our home gave me a complete appreciation and knowledge of how our mental health can affect our homes and how important it is to feel in control of our space.

 

I realised very quickly that I could turn other people’s homes around with the same passion and care.

 

I spent the first 3 years of my life in an orphanage and was brought to the UK in 1983.

 

My path could have been completely different but I took my opportunity and ran with it. I took what I once thought were negatives in my home situation and created a business I love and am beyond proud of.

 

My only goal from a young age was to help others. To motivate and inspire and help people make positive changes to their homes and fall in love with their space again.

I cannot recommend Dilly highly enough. She worked tirelessly to help clear out my mum’s kitchen and living room. Over the years, particularly during Covid, a significant amount of clutter had accumulated, making it an overwhelming task for my brother and me. Dilly transformed the situation into something manageable and managed to get everything cleared and organised.

What we achieved with Dilly in just six hours would have taken us days on our own. Dilly was incredibly empathetic. My mum is disabled, and her reassuring and patient approach made a world of difference. I knew Dilly would understand our situation, given her experience in caring for her own mum.

Dilly, I’m not sure if you’ll get the chance to see this, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you ❤️. We moved in March and had our first baby in May last year. The house was unpacked and ‘organised’ enough to function but not in the way I wanted it, and there were no systems in place. Fast forward to me going back to work in January with the little one in nursery, and no matter how prepared I thought I was, I still felt like I was wading through treacle and constantly ‘foggy’.

I bought a label maker with some Christmas gift vouchers and your book, and I’ve been getting organised drawer by drawer and room by room. Today, for the first time in what feels like ages, I found myself singing out loud – to old-school R&B, of course – as I was sorting and feeling better. It hit me that I hadn’t done that in such a long time.

Looking back, I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the house, the baby, and work – and I don’t think I realised just how much until now. What I’m trying to say is, thank you, Dilly. You’re helping me get myself and my home back 😍
